SUMMARY:

Assist with chemical applications to oilfield locations while maintaining safe operations with awareness to hazardous conditions and potential issues in accordance with HSE policy.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assess storage tanks and containment for regulatory compliance
• Monitor chemical pump rate conformance of chemical injection systems/applications
• Obtain, analyze, and track field samples for laboratory analysis
• Conduct chemical injection system maintenance and audits
• Communicate received customer orders to direct supervisor
• Maintain an open line of communication with customer
• Set-up and label storage tanks, stands and containments
• Track inventory usage and chemical deliveries of all Piranha Scientific chemicals through written and electronic logs
• Transfer chemical from totes, drums, and tanks
• Perform preventive maintenance/cleaning on pumps, and other field equipment to support chemical program
• Inform direct supervisor of any concerns in a timely and detailed manner
• Communicate activities to Supervisor and Management01
• Ensure proper cleanliness and operation of assigned vehicle, tools, sampling instruments, and other equipment used in Oil & Gas
• Always work within the Company guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Maintain PPE in accordance with Company policy
• Other duties assigned as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

• High school diploma or GED (minimum), college degree preferred
• Basic computer skills including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, proficiently send and receive emails, navigate a web browser, input data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Interact professionally with customers and field personnel, promptly addressing customer needs.
• Adhere to Piranha’s Drug and Alcohol policy and agree to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment
• Safely operate and drive company vehicle to various field locations in adherence to Piranha’s Motor Vehicle policy
• Sustain prolonged exposure to the outdoor environment and hazardous conditions
• Physically able and willing to safely lift a minimum of 80 pounds, climb, crouch, bend
• Safely tip and move 55-gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of a drum dolly
• Willingly participate in physical labor both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to troubleshoot and independently resolve mechanical and mathematical problems
• Proficient completion of Piranha Scientific Training/Safety Program, and ability to work in a safe manner, according to the program and customer requirements
• Ability to wear all forms of required breathing apparatuses, including but not limited to a respirator, in accordance with OSHA safety requirements
• OSHA, Site Specific training
• Forklift experience preferred
• PEC / Safeland certificate preferred
